Airpedic multi-zone system explained

Airpedic’s most distinctive manufacturer-described feature is its multi-zone adjustable-air architecture, which separates lumbar/midsection adjustment from the shoulder-and-leg region.

What multi-zone means here

Airpedic currently describes a six-chamber system creating three zones across the full bed. Each sleeper’s side can be adjusted, with the lumbar/midsection controlled separately from the shoulder-and-leg area.

Why that is different from simple dual-side control

Dual-side control answers “how firm is my side?” Localized zoning adds another question: “do I want the middle of my side supported differently from the rest?”

What it does not prove

A mechanical ability to change a zone is not clinical evidence that the mattress will treat back pain or another medical condition.
